El cloro se utiliza en el tratamiento del agua y en el proceso de fabricación de papel, plásticos, productos químicos de limpieza y otros productos. El cloro se utiliza en forma líquida y como gas comprimido. Dado que el cloro es un material corrosivo, puede causar irritación cuando los trabajadores lo respiran o exponen su piel a él. En concentraciones muy elevadas, la exposición al cloro puede causar la muerte tras unas pocas respiraciones. Debido al peligro de daños respiratorios, quemaduras químicas y muerte, los trabajadores deben utilizar, almacenar y manipular el cloro adecuadamente.CUÁL ES EL PELIGRO
