Recorded Date: February 27th, 2019 Speaker: Adrian Miedema About the Webinar Due diligence requires that employers impose consequences - often discipline - on employees for safety violations. But what level of discipline will “stick”? This webinar will survey court and arbitration (non-union and union) decisions regarding discipline or dismissal for safety violations. You will learn:
- what type of investigation is required before disciplining employees for safety violations?
- are "zero tolerance" or "cardinal safety rules" discipline policies enforceable?
- how do you determine what level of discipline is appropriate?
- what can you do to make the discipline “stick”?
