À 18 h le 8 juin 2024, l'Employé no 1, qui avait effectué des travaux de toiture toute la journée, est allé passer un appel téléphonique après avoir terminé l'installation et le nettoyage. Peu après, l'employé a été retrouvé sans réaction près d'un conteneur à déchets.
