ELIMINATION OF HAZARDS SAFETY TALK
When discussing how to mitigate hazards in the workplace there is a hierarchy of controls that is often referred to. A common version of the hierarchy from most effective to least effective control is listed as: elimination, substitution, engineering controls, administrative controls, and PPE.
