Must Employers Maintain Records of Accidents or Injuries?

Must Employers Report Injuries?

Yes

When Must Report be made?

Within 10 days of the date employer has knowledge of the injury or death, or 10 days from the date employer has knowledge of disease or infection alleged by employee to have arisen out of or in the course of employment.

Penalties for Failure to Report

Employee or other person entitled to benefits shall receive an additional award equal to 20% of the amounts that were unpaid when due.
