When Must Notice Be Given?
As soon as practicable, but not more than 45 days after the accident.
Exemptions to Notice Requirements
If employee is under a legal disability, the time for giving notice to employer is tolled until the disability has been removed; if the injury is exposure to radiological materials, employee has 90 days to give notice.
Effect of Failure to Notify Employer
Claim may be barred
