When Must Notice Be Given?
Forthwith.
Exemptions to Notice Requirements
If employee is legally incapacitated, the statute is tolled for the duration of the incapacity.
Effect of Failure to Notify Employer
Claim may be barred if employer has not begun payment of compensation.
