  Administrative penalty. (Note: A repeated violation is a Class B misdemeanor.) 

Fines 

  $500 maximum per violation 

Imprisonment 

State law does not provide a penalty. Criminal action, however, may be taken against an employer that violates the law 3 times within 3 years.
