GHS: The Third Deadline

The US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) had aligned its Hazard Communication Standard with the United Nation’s Globally Harmonized System  of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS), with an employee training which commenced on  Dec. 1, 2013.

The third deadline is aimed at all distributors. By December 1, 2015, distributors should not be shipping containers labeled by the chemical manufacturer or importer without GHS labels
