Ataque al Sistema de Seguridad Triton/Trisis
En una planta petroquímica, los atacantes se infiltraron en el sistema de control industrial y en el sistema instrumentado de seguridad (SIS) de la planta —precisamente el sistema diseñado para prevenir explosiones y proteger a los trabajadores—. El malware (conocido como Triton/Trisis) intentó desactivar estos controles de seguridad, lo que habría permitido que las condiciones de operación inseguras continuaran sin que se produjera un apagado automático.
