One worker falls to his death and another is critically injured after 100 foot fall from the Manhattan Bridge
At approximately 1.50 pm, a 37-year-old independent contractor fell 100 feet from the bridge and was pronounced dead where he landed near the intersection of South Street and Pike Slip near FDR Drive, police said. The second man, 55, was hospitalized in critical condition after he fell from the bridge.
