Chronic obstructive pulmonary (or lung) diseases (COPD or COLD) refer to a group of diseases in which there is insufficient flow of air into or out of the lungs. Chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases include primarily of chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and asthma.
